Sustainable by Material

CortiçAmor is made from organic cork trees in Portugal. Cork is harvested in an environmentally friendly way in Portugal. When cork is harvested, only the bark is removed, thus, leaving the tree intact. The bark is harvested every 7-13 years, giving the tree adequate time to recover. This is extremely important because cork trees are a critical part to a very diverse and thriving ecosystem in Portugal and Spain.

Cork fabric is also a vegan leather, no animals are harmed in this process!

Cork is also natural, so it is biodegradable.
